The Student Activities Council is the largest event planning organization on campus. We bring major campus events like PaintU Dance Party, Homecoming, Wichita State Drag Show, and so much more.
About our membership
Members join to make friends and have an impact on campus - they leave with valuable skills in event planning, promotion, and organizational leadership.
- Must be an enrolled degree-seeking student
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- Regularly attend member meetings
- Participate in promotional activities including postering, chalking, and tabling
- Volunteer at events as essential support
How to join
- Drop into any one of our member meetings and stick around afterward for an orientation
- Complete a member interest form at https://wichita.edu/sac
Meetings
- Meetings are held weekly on Tuesdays from 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.
- Meetings are open and you can drop in and meet us
