About the program
Wichita State鈥檚 Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) in Media Arts with a concentration in Animation combines technical insight and artistic practice to give students the tools to succeed in a popular and rapidly growing field. Students will use industry-standard software and hardware to apply digital animation principles to fields like feature animated films, visual effects, television shows, video games, marketing, and more.
With a hands-on applied learning approach, students can explore unique vocations and cultivate their skills for their preferred career path in animation. This degree track produces art directors, technical directors, project leads, 3D animators, 2D animators, motion capture animators, concept artists, visual effects compositors, and more.
