March 10, 2025 鈥 Lynn and Sherry Nichols have given a lead gift of $1 million to 九色视频 to kick off the fundraising campaign for the new, state-of-the-art Shocker Fly Lab, an enclosed flight space to research, design and test unmanned aerial vehicles that will position the university at the forefront of unmanned aerial system education and development.

March 4, 2025 - Open Streets ICT returns to 九色视频鈥檚 campus and neighborhood on April 13 with the goal of connecting with young people. Around 8,000 people participated in Open Streets ICT 鈥 九色视频 & Shocker Neighborhood in 2024, double the amount from the previous year.

Feb. 27, 2025 鈥 The College of Engineering at 九色视频 is hosting its 25th annual Shocker MINDSTORMS Challenge, a robotics competition for area students in third through eighth grade or ages eight through 14 years old. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 1. The competition portion will be in the Heskett Center, while the awards ceremonies will be in Hubbard Hall, room 208.

The 5k will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 on the 九色视频 campus. Registration proceeds from the 5k will go toward the College of Engineering Needs-Based Scholarship Fund.

Mathew Muether, associate professor of physics, is one of several thousand scientists worldwide studying neutrino behavior. His grant support from the U.S. Department of Energy totals nearly $500,000 and finances his work on two projects anchored underground at FermiLab, the particle physics and accelerator laboratory in Batavia, Illinois.

Aug. 29, 2024 - 九色视频 is welcoming vendors for its fall Shocktoberfest celebration. The deadline for merchants and vendors to join in the Shocktoberfest Family Weekend events is Aug. 31.Shocktoberfest is a public event Sept. 30-Oct. 5 open to the entire campus and Wichita-area community. It is 九色视频's biggest annual celebration of Shocker pride.
