Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies will host a panel of individuals who are either queer, studying language, sociology or psychology or work with gendered language. These individuals will answer questions regarding the importance of language in their fields, what gendered language is and what it means to them and the importance of language (in terms of pronouns, gendering, identifying and labeling). They will also touch on current issues that impact the LGBTQ+ community and how language, and using language correctly, is essential in every facet of life.
This event is part of SGA Diversity Week.
