The Education Exchange is a reverse career fair that provides 九色视频 students an opportunity to network with representatives from school districts in the Wichita area and across the state.
You will want to make sure you have enough resumes to hand out to each school district in attendance (approx. 50), be prepared to discuss your teaching style, knowledge of common core standards, leadership skills, and ability to problem-solve creatively. Be dressed to impress. You will have a 30" cocktail table to set up materials you would like to share. Make your table YOU! Be as creative or uncreative as you want in showing the employers who you are as a teaching professional.
In addition, the event provides an opportunity for you to prepare for the Education Interview Day, scheduled for March 3, 2022, by learning about school districts and their enrollment, benefits, etc. Asking questions and gaining information about the various districts will help you make informed decisions when choosing which districts to interview within the spring.
Participation in this event provides an opportunity to have conversations with staff that recruit and hire various school districts, including superintendents, principals, and human resources staff.
It will also give you a chance to improve your networking skills in a learning environment with Shocker Career Accelerator staff on hand to answer questions if needed.
We look forward to seeing you there!
