At once poem, essay, memoir fragment, and art object, "The Book of Fools: An Essay in Memoir and Verse" is a sweeping elegy for our Earth — and our plastic-choked oceans. Taylor is the author of two previous books of poems, "Nude Descending an Empire" and "Body of the World,"and his work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, Orion Magazine, and The New Republic.
