The prestigious award is given to one male high school or college student in the United States who competes in the sport of bowling. The last time someone from Kansas received the award was 1995.

She will receive $11,000 a year for four years to attend ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ as a marketing major in the W. Frank Barton School of Business.
