Lisa Bennett graduated with a master's in communication sciences and disorders in December. She has had a problem with stuttering since she was 4 and hopes that her experiences will help her relate to others with similar problems.

The prestigious award is given to one male high school or college student in the United States who competes in the sport of bowling. The last time someone from Kansas received the award was 1995.

Dec 17, 2010 — By ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ News Services — Jessica Crumrine, a senior at Newton High School in Newton, Kan., is the winner of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ's 2011-2012 Clay Barton Scholarship in Business. She will receive $11,000 a year for four years to attend ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ as a marketing major in the W. Frank Barton School of Business.
