Jazz festival promises four lively days of music and talk

Apr 1, 2011 — By ɫƵ News Services — The Wichita Jazz Festival is celebrating its 40th year with up-and-coming jazz stars' music and talk from Wednesday, April 20-Saturday, April 23, at Doc Howard's Lounge, the Ulrich Museum of Art, the Fisch Haus Gallery and ɫƵ's CAC Theater.

Table Tennis team wins division title, headed to nationals

Apr 5, 2011 — By Anthony Marrone — The Shocker Table Tennis team won its third straight division title on Feb. 27. The team was created by incoming freshman PJ Phachantry four years ago and has won the division the past three years. ɫƵ will represent the Kansas division in the national tournament, but had to take down KU, K-State and Nebraska in the division to qualify.

Shockers advance to NIT final with 75-44 win
