May 22, 2012 — By ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ News Services — Ulrich Museum of Art Director Patricia McDonnell, who has been with Wichita State since January 2007, has been named director of the Wichita Art Museum. McDonnell's move from the Ulrich to WAM will start Aug. 20 and be complete Sept. 15, following the transition of two important projects -- the Ulrich's gallery renovation currently under way and its grand reopening after a nine-month closedown.

The award was established to recognize ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ faculty or staff members who have played a key role in cultivating and securing a major gift for ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ.

Apr 27, 2012 — By ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ News Services — John William Bardo has been named by the Kansas Board of Regents as the new president of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, effective July 1. Bardo will become the 13th president of Wichita State, following President Donald Beggs' resignation June 30.
