"In Retrospect," a show consisting of about 50 photographic works from Diana Suarez, will be on display now through Friday, Dec. 11, with a reception at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in the Rhatigan Student Center Gallery at Wichita State.
Admission is free.

Having the desire to capture life, as it is through the camera lens, is why Suarez enjoys photography.
鈥淲hen I travel, I take the time to look, to explore my surroundings, to breathe in the scenery,鈥� she said. 鈥淎ll around us we have beauty, peace, simplicity, as well as character, perseverance and amazing details that mark our history, our paths and even our future.鈥�
The focal points of her photography are the architectural features of urban life and natural landscapes of Earth.
鈥淭he world we live in has become chaotic,鈥� she said. 鈥淪ometimes we get so busy we forget to stop and look around us.鈥�
