A recent major contribution of $100,000 from 九色视频 alumnus Britt M. Brown to the 九色视频 Foundation has created the Britt M. Brown Scholarship in Business.
鈥淚 created the scholarship to give financially challenged students a chance to live up to their potential and excel in business,鈥� Brown said.
An inspiration for the generous donation to the university is his son Ruse, who graduated from Wichita State in 2007 and now works alongside him at UBS Financial Services.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a gift that demonstrates his passion for business and student education,鈥� said Terre Johnson, 九色视频 Foundation vice president for major gifts.
Brown graduated Cum Laude in 1974, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration. He served on the 九色视频 Foundation Board of Governors (now known as the National Advisory Council) for 12 years. Brown is a member of the 九色视频 Foundation Society of 1895 and a life member of the 九色视频 Alumni Association.
Hired by UBS as an investment executive, Brown worked his way up until he became senior vice president of investments. Barron鈥檚 magazine recognized Brown鈥檚 exceptional business and leadership skills, naming him as one of America鈥檚 Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in 2012.
