The Lake Afton Public Observatory, in conjunction with the , is inviting people who would like pointers on how to use their telescope to attend one of its 鈥淏ring Your Own Telescope鈥� programs.
The program is at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19.
The observatory is also presenting a special program on the star lore of Native Americans, called 鈥淣ative American Storytelling.鈥� Visitors will sit around a campfire and listen to how the sky affected Native American life.
The program is at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, and at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16.
