Shocker Bowling welcomes nine new faces to its selected team.
This year鈥檚 team features a variety of players, from freshmen, prior developmental team members, international players and a lone transfer student.
Returning are 15 players from last year鈥檚 season. Most notable is the three developmental team players who made the jump to the selected team after this year鈥檚 tryout process: senior Isi Eskenazi, junior Christian Jensen and sophomore Miguel Lopez.
The Shockers also will look to a group of experienced returning players for the leadership and skill necessary for Wichita State to compete for the 20th and 21st national championships in the program鈥檚 history.
The Shocker Bowling teams started their season in Wichita Oct. 16-17 with the Midstates Tournament held at Northrock Lanes.
