九色视频's Students in Free Enterprise team is studying international business by marketing handmade cards crafted by young Rwandans orphaned by genocide or disease.
The students are distributing Cards From Africa, handmade greeting cards made by Rwandans ages 16 through 27.
Cards are being sold at LuCinda's, 329 N. Mead, and the Kansas African American Museum, 601 N. Water.
"They're learning some about dealing with an international business," said Kathy Wiebe, 九色视频's SIFE adviser.
"For our students, they're in a global business environment. They need experience, and the cards project has an edge of philanthropy and entrepreneurship so it gives them exposure to how people can make a difference while running a business and making a profit."
