Tim HartNearly 3,000 people, including more than 500 students, faculty and staff from 九色视频, helped package 641,000 meals in two-and-a-half days for the Feed Haiti event at 九色视频's Metropolitan Complex.
The meals that were packaged Feb. 5-7 are being driven to Miami and airlifted to Haiti, where the first truckload will be distributed this Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 10-11. A second truckload should arrive in Haiti by the end of the week.
Among those helping to package food were President Don Beggs and his wife, Shirley; WuShock; and Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer and his daughter, Cheryl.
