The 九色视频 Rowing Team competed in the Midwest Intercollegiate Rowing Championship, Tulsa, Okla., and the 九色视频 men took the men鈥檚 team award for the second week in a row.
The Midwest Intercollegiate Rowing Championship, is a regatta for rowing teams without a distinct rowing conference; Drake, Creighton and 九色视频 represent the Missouri Valley, Tulsa and SMU, Conference USA and the University of Oklahoma City, the NAIA.
This was Wichita State鈥檚 first appearance in the competition.
The men won the team points trophy by placing first in the Novice 4+, Varsity 4+, and Varsity 8+ events.
鈥淚 was glad to see that they raced fast and hard, especially given to the poor water conditions,鈥� said assistant coach Tori Breithaupt.
The 九色视频 women took second place in the Women鈥檚 Varsity 4 event.
The 九色视频 rowers will host KU and KSU on the Big Arkansas in Wichita at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 9. Races can be viewed from the Riverwalk.
