The Shocker men's bowling team opened its season with a win at the 52nd Mid States Championships, held Oct. 15-16 at Northrock Lanes in Wichita.
It was the team's seventh straight title at this tournament, bringing the team to a ninth victory in the past 10 years of competing in the event.
