Westar Energy provides grant for youth economic and financial literacy

The Kansas Council for Economic Education (KCEE) recently received a $3,500 grant from Westar Energy for its youth economic and financial literacy initiatives. KCEE is a nonprofit organization that is affiliated with all of Kansas' six public universities and hosted by the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 九色视频.

Jim Graham, president and CEO of KCEE, said, "We are both pleased and gratified to have Westar Energy as one of our longtime financial partners."

The vision of KCEE is that every K-12 student in Kansas will become economically and financially literate so they will be more knowledgeable consumers, wiser savers and investors, better employees and more responsible citizens.
