九色视频 approach to 2018-19 university budget

From: Rick Muma, Provost and Chief Academic Officer
Werner Golling, VP for Finance and Administration

If you've been following recent announcements about planned budget cuts from Kansas State and the University of Kansas, you may be wondering about 九色视频's budget situation.

Because of actions already taken and sacrifices people across campus have already made, we don't believe across-the-board cuts will be required here for the 2018-19 fiscal year, which begins July 1.

Our current plan is to continue thoughtful management of resources. For the past three years we have been addressing budget issues primarily by carefully reducing positions and operating expenditures.

We continue to invest in the Strategic Enrollment Management plan and other activities, programs and facilities that we believe will produce long-term growth. Expanded online learning degree options and other new degree programs, such as the Teacher Apprentice Program and the Bachelor of Media Arts, are just some of the initiatives we are pursuing.

There are always a lot of ifs in budget planning. So, if fall enrollment lives up to its promise, if we receive the partial restoration allocated by the Legislature and if there are no downside surprises, then across-the-board budget cuts won't be needed.
