* The fiscal year-end cut-off date for Telecommunication orders will be Tuesday, June 5, this year. All requests should be submitted to Telecommunications via https://wsu.news/telecomye2018 (Telecommunications is in the middle column, fourth one down). These requests can include cell phone purchases / upgrades, billing changes, new installations or moves of phone and Ethernet, new equipment, etc. Please email telecomservices@wichita.edu or call 978-3535 with any questions.

* Faculty and staff, plan to attend an all campus party, Shockin' Fun Friday, hosted by Student Affairs. From 3-5 p.m. Friday, June 1, in the RSC East Courtyard, join your fellow faculty and staff members for food, prizes, games and more to kick off the summer! Prizes include a reserved "red" parking spot for a year, a TV, athletic tickets and more! Must be present to win. Families are welcome. This is a come-and-go event, no RSVP required.

* The College of Education will host Shocker STEM Camp in July for boys and girls who have completed grades 3-8. Campers will spend four days performing hands-on activities as they explore a variety of STEM topics including programming, forensic science (CSI) and engineering design. * If you are curious and would like to learn more about the purpose, use and difference between the retention tools the university has in place, plan to attend the Retention Tools Workshop at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 7, in the 142 RSC. We will talk about the Student Early Alert System (SEAS), the Student Success Collaborative (SSC) and the At-Risk Report, which all exist to help us reach our enrollment goals.
