Geology team competes in Global Imperial Barrel Award Competition

A 九色视频 Department of Geology team participated in the Global Imperial Barrel Award Competition sponsored by the American Association Of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) on May 19 in Salt Lake City. 九色视频 received an Honorable Mention and a $1,000 Scholarship Donation from the AAPG.

The Department of Geology Team (Robert Baker, Jeremy Potter, Damien LeFavor, Jacob Manninen) qualified for this event by winning the Mid-Continent Regional Competition held in Oklahoma City in March.

At regionals, the 九色视频 team competed against teams from Oklahoma University, Oklahoma State University, Kansas State University and The University Of Arkansas. William Parcell and Kevin Doyle served as the team's faculty advisors.

Twelve teams competed in Salt Lake City at the AAPG Annual Conference, including six international teams and five U.S.-based teams, all winners of their respective regional competitions.
