Reminders, deadlines and events

* The fiscal year-end cut-off date for Telecommunication orders will be Tuesday, June 5, this year. All requests should be submitted to Telecommunications via https://wsu.news/telecomye2018 (Telecommunications is in the middle column, fourth one down). These requests can include cell phone purchases / upgrades, billing changes, new installations or moves of phone and Ethernet, new equipment, etc. Please email telecomservices@wichita.edu or call 978-3535 with any questions.

* Wichita State has received its second-ever at-large bid for the 2018 NCAA Softball Tournament and will travel to the Fayetteville Regional to face Oklahoma State at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, May 18) on ESPNU. Go to https://wsu.news/softballncaatourney for more information.

* Members of the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes Eat.Drink.Play. Rewards Program can enjoy free billiards in May from 4-7 p.m. Monday-Friday. Not a member? Joining is free and easy; simply stop by our guest services counter.

* Do you know someone with a great business idea? Tell them about E-Launch! This is the last week to apply. E-Launch has been developed to foster entrepreneurial activity that will lead to the commercialization of technology-based ideas. The next launch is 1-4 p.m. Fridays May 18-July 6, in the Innovation Hub in Devlin Hall.

* Save $10 on the inaugural KMUW 5K run / walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 19. Use the code WUSHOCK when you register for the race online. All participants will receive a medal and T-shirt. * Housing and Residence Life (HRL) wants to inform the greater campus community that it has changed its move-in days for this upcoming year. This fall, Living Learning Communities Move-In Day will take place on Thursday, Aug. 16, and General Move-In will take place on Friday, Aug. 17. Both move-in days will run from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Students with questions about move-in should call the HRL Office at 978-3693 or email housing.wsu@wichita.edu.
