College of Health Professions students finish second at prestigious national competition

Congratulations to our Wichita State College of Health Professions and KU School of Medicine-Wichita team who won second place at the highly prestigious CLARION Interprofessional National Competition. The students worked hard to prepare their case study assignment and present a top-notch solution to combat the opioid crisis in rural West Virginia. We are proud of their outstanding accomplishment!

The team was made up of the following students: Kendall Hallstrom (Communication Sciences and Disorders), Mariah Kriwiel (KU School of Medicine-Wichita), Kassidy Simmons (Department of Physical Therapy) and Chelsea Chilcott (Communication Sciences and Disorders).
