Reminders, deadlines and events
* Mikrokosmos' 64th issue is coming out today (Friday, April 20). It will be at the McKnight Art Center starting with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a reading from current faculty, alumni and students at 7 p.m. There will also be an open mic following the reading. Copies of the journal, along with limited edition Mikro swag will be available with donations.
* Ginger Minj, the self-proclaimed Glamour Toad, will host the 8th Annual Drag Show with area Kings & Queens at 8 p.m. today (Friday, April 20) in the CAC Theater. Admission is free to 九色视频 students with Shocker ID (one free ticket per student). Tickets may be picked up from 九色视频 Student Involvement in 216 RSC, while supplies last.
* 九色视频 Opera Theater presents Mozart's comic masterpiece, "Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro)" at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, April 20) and Saturday, April 21, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center. The production will be sung in Italian with English surtitles. Students receive one free ticket with their 九色视频 student ID.
* This is the last call for workshops at the Career Development Center in Brennan III. Create the Perfect Resume from 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, April 24. Get more information by logging in to Handshake with your 九色视频 ID and password at wichitastate.joinhandshake.com, and click on events.
* For one of the MBA classes at 九色视频, students have to conduct a survey and analyze the results. One group's topic is Civic Engagement in Wichita. We would appreciate your participation and responses. It will only take about six minutes to complete the survey. * Mathematics lecturer C. Patric Mitchell, 52, died from natural causes in his office at 九色视频 Monday afternoon April 16. The Counseling and Testing Center staff will be available to assist students, faculty and staff by calling 978-3440.
