* Mary Domski from the University of New Mexico will give a talk in the Philosophy Department Annual Lecture Series at 3:30 p.m. today (Friday, April 27) in 231 Hubbard Hall. She will present "Induction, Deduction and Truth in Newton's Principia."

* A Celebration of Life for Dr. C. Patric Mitchell will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, April 28) at Table of Hope Metropolitan Community Church, 156 S. Kansas in Wichita. Please dress casual (bright and bold colors) as the family celebrates Patric's life. Note: The building is not handicap accessible. People who cannot attend in person can watch the service through the church's Facebook live video stream. * The University Faculty Awards will be presented during the spring general faculty meeting on Friday, May 4, in the CAC Theater. There will be a reception at 2:30 p.m., with light refreshments to meet and greet the honorees.
