Reminders, deadlines and events

* Mathematics lecturer C. Patric Mitchell, 52, died from natural causes in his office at 九色视频 Monday afternoon April 16. Mitchell taught classes for more than 10 years at 九色视频. A counselor will attend his classes today (Wednesday, April 18) and be available to meet with students. The Counseling and Testing Center staff will be available to assist students, faculty and staff by calling 316-978-3440.

* Stop by the RSC for the live music series RSC Unplugged from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 18). Grab a cup of coffee and relax with some great music by Nikki Moddelmog in the RSC Starbucks Lounge.

* If you are using Blackboard to record and figure your grades, now is a good time to review the numbers to make sure Blackboard is calculating grades correctly. Come by the Instructional Design and Access (IDA) Blackboard and Accessibility Lab between 1-3 p.m. any Tuesday or Wednesday, in the C-Space of Ablah Library, if you would like help reviewing your Blackboard gradebook or anything else.

* Community Service Board is hosting a free Food Handlers Class from the City of Wichita Department of Environmental Health from 6-7:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 18) in 258 RSC. Participants who attend the whole class will receive a food handler's card that is valid for four years. Register at https://bit.ly/2HnOqMT

* The Gregg Marshall Shocker Basketball Auction will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Charles Koch Arena, and the Golf Tournament on Monday, May 14, at Wichita Country Club. Go to https://wsu.news/BBauctionGolfTournament for more information on both events.

* From now through Tuesday, April 24, the 九色视频 Foundation and Office of Annual Giving will hold its first Giving WU Week -- a special time dedicated to promoting and raising money for the Dean's Fund for Excellence.
