Alternative Spring Break Photo Reflections Reception today (Tuesday, April 17)

Join us for the Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Photo Reflections Reception from 6-7 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, April 17) in the RSC, first floor. The 2018 Alternative Break students selected a photo from their trip and provided a reflective caption about their service-learning experience this past spring break for inclusion in this visual installation of student photography and videography.

Students traveled to Washington D.C. on a trip titled "Hunger and Homelessness in an Urban Setting" or Santa Catalina Island titled "Minimizing Human Impact." Combined, the two trips completed 744 hours of service with a value of $26,186.52 for connected community partners.

The students have been enrolled in a connected service-learning course HNRS306: Service and Leadership Needed learning about connected social issues. All students will be present at the reception and would love to tell you about their experience and answer questions. Refreshments will be served.
