Reminders, deadlines and events

* Female veteran students, dependents and faculty female veterans are welcome to attend a come-and-go women's social event between 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, April 17) in the lower level, RSC. Come socialize and enjoy a free lunch at Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes. If you have questions, call Patty at 316-992-2247 or email patty@v2vsc.org.

* Do you want to volunteer, but you're not sure where to start? We're here to help! Every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. you can stop by the volunteerICT Open Lab in 221 RSC, to speak with a volunteerICT representative. We can also help set up and resolve issues with your volunteerICT account. Stop by anytime during these hours -- no appointment necessary. Questions? Contact volunteerICT@wichita.edu.

* Blaze Pizza is the place to be from 5-8 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, April 17) at 2692 N. Greenwich Road. Enjoy yourself and support our cause at a special fundraising event for Shocker Rowing. You can find this ad on wsu.news/rowing, present this flyer to the cashier and Blaze Pizza will donate 20 percent of proceeds from your meal back to our organization.

* Please consider volunteering for Shocker MINDSTORMS Challenge Day, set for Saturday, April 21. Grade school LEGO robotics teams will compete on campus. Sign up to volunteer at https://wsu.news/MINDSTORMS2018

* The 25th Annual Family Carnival from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the RSC east courtyard, is a fun-filled day your family will never forget. This year's carnival will feature fun activities, inflatables, a petting zoo and more. The Family Carnival is fit for children of all ages to enjoy. Admission is free! Tickets will be available for purchase on-site at the event.
