Upcoming LAS dean visits announced

Four candidates for dean of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will come to campus starting this week through early May. The candidates are:
Andrew Hippisley, chair of linguistics, University of Kentucky
Robert Matz, interim dean, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, George Mason University
Orlando Perez, associate dean, College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Millersville University of Pennsylvania
Bessie House-Soremekun, associate dean and professor of political science, Jackson State University

Each candidate will speak at a public forum. The first candidate, Andrew Hippisley, will be on campus Thursday and Friday, April 12-13. More details will be announced prior to his visit. Information also will be available on the Academic Affairs website at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6371
