* Kansas Children's Service League, 九色视频 Sport Management and 九色视频 Child Development Center are kicking off Child Abuse Prevention Month with "Wear Blue" day and planting a pinwheel garden. Join us at 10 a.m. today (Friday, April 6) at the Child Development Center to plant a pinwheel in a show of support for strengthening families and the community.
* The 20th annual Lambda Alpha Student Symposium will be held at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, April 7) in 107 Devlin Hall. The symposium was created to encourage and recognize student research in the field of anthropology. Food and refreshments will be provided.
* Join us for a panel discussion featuring special guest Jim Tuorila who will speak about the treatment of veteran issues at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, in 231 Hubbard Hall. Tuorila, a retired U.S. Army sergeant, is a Vietnam-era veteran who served in the Korean Demilitarized Zone from 1975-76.
* The Center for Entrepreneurship is in need of student judges for the Shocker New Venture Competition from 2-3 p.m. Friday, April 20, in Charles Koch Arena. Student judges will receive $10,000 in "Shocker Dollars" to invest in the team of their choice. The winning team will receive the People's Choice Award. * F45 playoffs are back! Form a team or compete individually and make your way through 10 F45 stations from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Heskett Center. Complete the most reps to be crowned the champion. Prizes for the top and overall male and female in each age division. Registration is $5. Sign up today at the Guest Services Desk in the Heskett Center.
