The 20th annual Lambda Alpha Student Symposium will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, in 107 Devlin Hall. The symposium was created to encourage and recognize student research in the field of anthropology. It provides students an opportunity to make a 15-minute presentation and discuss current research in an atmosphere conducive to professional development. At the end of the event, three judges will announce a winner, who will be given a prize of $100. Additionally, an award will be given for best undergraduate presentation. Food and refreshments will be provided.
