Enrollment status definitions are changing for summer 2018

In an effort to align summer enrollment with fall and spring, full-time summer enrollment will now be 12 hours for domestic undergraduate students. This change will have the largest impact on recipients of Title IV (federal financial aid) funding. Pell-eligible and/or Direct loan-eligible students may be able to receive additional funds in summer only if they enroll at least half-time (six hours). Eligibility for summer federal aid is determined based on how much aid a student has already utilized from their academic year and life-time limits.

This policy change only affects domestic undergraduate students who plan to enroll in summer. If you have any questions regarding this change, go to http://www.wichita.edu/summerfinaid and refer to the Q&A regarding summer financial aid, or contact the Office of Financial Aid at finaid@wichita.edu.
