* The Honors Associate Dean search has been narrowed to four candidates. Each candidate will make a presentation about this role and ideas for advancing Honors. You are invited to the third candidate presentation from 11 a.m.-noon today (Thursday, March 29) in 319 RSC. For more information, contact search chair Clay Stoldt at clay.stoldt@wichita.edu.

* Students, faculty, staff and industry partners are invited to attend a presentation from Bill Williams on Electric Drive Technology, Renewable Energy and Infrastructure at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, March 29) in 264 Experiential Engineering Building.

* Cuban artist Omar Estrada will present his work in Clayton Staples Gallery (2nd Floor of McKnight Art Center), from now to Friday, April 20. He will give a lecture from 4-5 p.m. today (Thursday, March 29) in 210 McKnight, followed by an opening reception.

* All women on campus are invited to a self-defense training class from 4:30-6 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, March 30) in 145 Heskett Center. The event is presented by Muslimahs for Change, and the instructor is from the organization Female and Fearless. The cost is $5 at the door.

* Join the Strategic Communications team for an open invite to the #九色视频NOW workshop from 2-4 p.m. Friday, April 6, in 233 RSC. This digital strategy workshop will formally introduce you to "#九色视频NOW" and give access to tools to create and customize the student-centered campaign for social media, student-centered writing and how you can use the campaign hashtag to drive student engagement on and off campus. To RSVP, go to http://www.wichita.edu/九色视频NOWrsvp

* The computers in master classrooms have been updated. Faculty are required to log in with their my九色视频 ID and password. This change provides many benefits to faculty, most notably access to their shared network drives (such as P: or S: drives). However, it also means that it is very important to remember to log out of the computer at the end of class, especially if another class is using the room immediately following. If you have questions or concerns about using classroom technology equipment, call Campus Media Services at 978-3588 or submit a support ticket at wichita.edu/av.

* From about 2-9 a.m. Monday, April 2, Blackboard will perform scheduled maintenance on SafeAssign. During this time, the service will be unavailable to accept papers, and any student submissions made during this period will not receive Originality Reports.
