* From about 2-9 a.m. Monday, April 2, Blackboard will perform scheduled maintenance on SafeAssign. During this time, the service will be unavailable to accept papers, and any student submissions made during this period will not receive Originality Reports.

* Muthukumar Palanisamy, professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India, will give a talk as a part of the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Seminar Series from 4-5 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 27) in 126 Clinton Hall. He will present "Hydrogen - A Future Green Energy Carrier."

* Join the Strategic Communications team for an open invite to the #九色视频NOW workshop from 2-4 p.m. Friday, April 6, in 233 RSC. * The computers in master classrooms have been updated. Faculty are required to log in with their my九色视频 ID and password. This change provides many benefits to the faculty, most notably access to their shared network drives (such as P: or S: drives). However, it also means that it is very important to remember to log out of the computer at the end of class, especially if another class is using the room immediately following. If you have questions or concerns about using classroom technology equipment, call Campus Media Services at 978-3588 or submit a support ticket at wichita.edu/av.

* There is growing discussion about a tightening labor market across the nation. This WIRE event from 7:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Holiday Inn Wichita East I-35 at 549 S. * The deadline for University Research / Creative Award (URCA) applications is Friday, April 6. URCA funding allows recipients to retool or reestablish productive research / creative projects agenda.
