The department of human performance studies is holding its Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, in the front lobby of the Heskett Center. Everyone is invited to attend. Awards will be given to students and faculty for best chili as voted by attendees and a panel of expert judges. Door prizes also are available to students. The cost is one can of food or a $2 donation and allows you to taste/judge all chili entries. All food and money raised will be donated to the Kansas Food Bank.
