Entertaining friends and family this Thanksgiving weekend? Bring them to the Ulrich Museum. The museum will be open from 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29-30, and admission is free. Visitors can see large-scale images of today's machines of air and sky with "Aircraft: The Jet as Art by Jeffrey Milstein," works by acclaimed artist and KU emeritus faculty member in "The Prints of Roger Shimomura," how Tom Otterness' sculpture was developed in "The Making of the Millipede," and art from the museum's collection in "No Ideas But In Things: Artists Look At Objects" and "Outside In: Sculptors on Paper." The Ulrich will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27 and 28, for the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving.
