What: Graduation ceremony for first cohorts of ɫƵ's Spero program, a career readiness
and entrepreneurship program backed by the Charles Koch Foundation. Media are welcome
to attend.
When: 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, March 14 in the atrium.
Why: The Spero program is unique in that it is designed in partnership with local employers,
many of whom are already offering jobs to the new graduates. The program is intended
to grow the Wichita-area talent pipeline.
Who: More than 200 people, including community stakeholders, Mayor Lily Wu and representatives
from more than 20 businesses, will be in attendance.
