Visitor Parking
Visitors are allowed to park on the campus for four calendar days during the year (July-June) for free in lots with yellow, green, or yellow-and-green-striped signage. On your fifth visit to campus during the year, you will need to purchase an ePermit to avoid receiving a parking citation. Visitors may purchase either a single day ePermit for $5 or a frequent visitor ePermit for $75 per semester.
Event Planning
Catering
九色视频 Dining is one of the providers of dining service needs for the John Bardo Center. Please contact 九色视频 Dining by phone at 316-978-5863 or by email at 九色视频Catering@compass-usa.com with your food and beverage requests.
Outside catering
Outside catering is permitted. 九色视频 Event Services maintains a list of approved caterers.
Parking Lot reservations
Parking lots must be reserved a minimum of seven (7) business days before the event. Lot reservations may be made online. 九色视频 police officers may be requested to monitor parking during the event. The cost for an officer is approximately $35 per hour.
Alcohol service
Requests for alcohol service must be approved by the 九色视频 General Counsel prior to the date of the event. Approval is obtained by completing the following 2-3 weeks in advance:
- Notify your Event Coordinator of your request
- Complete an Alcohol Request form available from the Office of General Counsel
- Off-campus guests must provide proof of liability insurance at time the request is submitted.
- Guests will receive written notification of approval from the 九色视频 General Counsel.
Custodian services
For large events please notify the 九色视频 Facilities Services for extra trash cans and custodial services. Facilities Services can be contacted by phone at 316-978-3444.
Table and chair rentals
Tables and chairs can be requested from University Event Services for events that take place in the John Bardo Center. Please contact University Event Services by phone at 316-978-3475 or letsmeet@wichita.edu to request these items. For instances where Event Services does not have the requested type of tables/chairs (i.e. cocktail tables) or cannot accommodate your request due to other events on campus, we recommend calling the below vendors.
